Mount Everest. The ceiling of the world. It is Earth's highest mountain above sea level at 29,031 feet. It was first summered on May 29th 1953 by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. From reading about it, the rout isn’t “technical challenging” on the standard route (I’m sure it’s still plenty difficult lol), but Everest presents dangers such as altitude sickness, weather, and wind, as well as hazards from avalanches. Regardless of the danger the mountain presents to climbers, it is definitely one of the most beautiful places on earth. At least I think so!
