This is a drawing of MF DOOM’s mask by writing his name. His unexpected passing was announced the other day and I wanted to do a drawing in his memory. If you haven’t listened to his music yet, it is incredibly fascinating. A brilliant lyricist with his own incredibly unique style. His influence can be seen in dozens of different artists that use alter egos. In my opinion the easiest to tell would be in Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator and a few other members of Odd Future. He was a visionary to say the least. Real quick, this is a picture taken off of a video of the original but the scan will be very similar and I’ll get a proper picture up soon!
This product will be a print at the 11x14” size (or about A3 if you are not in America) which is a great medium sized for your wall!
