Rev. Martin Luther King JR was a Baptist Minister and prominent Civil Rights activist during the 1950s and 60s. One of the most eloquent speech writers in this history of our nation, he inspired millions to stand up for their rights through nonviolence and civil disobedience. America would not look the same without the guidance and inspiration given by MLK.
